Dayanand Adarsh Vidyalaya

Dayanand Adarsh Vidyalaya is right in the heart of Sarkaghat, specifically in Ward No 4 of the Nagar Panchayat area. If you live in the Mandi district, you know that Sarkaghat is a busy little place with a lot going on. Our school is just one part of that local life. We have a solid building that has stood up well over the years, though it always needs a bit of looking after. The staff here are mostly folks from around the 175024 area who have been teaching for a long time. We aren't trying to be the most modern or the most expensive school out there. We just want to provide a place where the local kids can come and learn what they need to. Every morning, there is the usual rush of students coming in from the nearby streets, and it can get a bit loud, but we like the energy of it. We don’t have a fancy board of directors or a team of people making big plans. It is just us, the teachers and the helpers, trying to keep everything running on time. We deal with the usual problems like leaky roofs or missing chalk, but we don't let it bother us much. It is just a normal school for normal families. We are proud to be part of the Sarkaghat community and we just take things one day at a time without making a big fuss.
