River Crescent Resort Manali

We are located over in Village Bhiura. It’s near Rajgarh and comes under the Sadar Tehsil in Mandi district. Even though the name says Manali, our actual spot is here in the Mandi area of Himachal Pradesh. This can be a bit confusing for people who aren't from around here. Having the river nearby is nice when it’s not raining too hard. The office work gets done in the back room. Our focus is mostly on keeping the grounds looking okay. There is always grass to cut or something to fix because of the damp air from the water. Life in the village is slow. Neighbors know us and we know them. The post office in Rajgarh handles our mail. Instead of a big corporate office, it’s just us working at the resort. We spend our days checking the supplies and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. Sometimes the road to the village gets a bit rough after a big storm. Waiting for the sun to come out is usually the best plan. It’s a simple way to spend the day. Most of us have lived in Himachal our whole lives. Not much changes around here. The same routine happens every morning and evening. We keep the doors open and do what needs doing. At night the river makes a lot of noise but you get used to it after a week or so.
