Our office for Shri Gajanan Real Estate Consultancy is actually in a housing society. We are at Flat No B-19 in Renuka Krupa Housing Society, which is in Kamod Nagar. It’s a bit different from having a shop on the main road, but it works well for us. It means we are right there where people live. When someone in Kamod Nagar wants to move or rent out their place, they just walk over to B-19. It’s a residential area, so it’s mostly quiet except for when the kids are playing outside in the evenings. We spend our time talking to owners and looking at different flats in the society and the ones nearby. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It's just a few of us who know the Kamod Nagar area inside out. We keep our files organized as best we can and try to keep up with the paperwork. It feels more personal working from a society flat. You get to know the security guards and the other residents really well. People stop by for a chat even if they aren't looking for a house right then. We just explain how the market is looking and what the going rates are. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s worked for us so far. We just take it one day at a time.
