Pakuahat Netajimore Farmer Producer Company Limited

You can find us over in Makulipo village, near Pakuahat. We are right by Netajimore, which is a spot everyone around here knows. Anup Kumar Roy is the one who helps keep the place running. We are a group of farmers from the Bamangola area. Most of us have been working these fields for as long as we can remember. We decided to form this company because it was getting harder to manage everything on our own. When we meet at the office near Netajimore, it is usually to talk about seeds, fertilizers, or who is going to the market this week. It is a very plain setup. We have a few chairs and some registers to keep track of things. We don't use any big business talk. We just speak plain English or the local language. The work is mostly outdoors anyway. We spend a lot of time walking through the fields in Makulipo, checking on the green shoots. It is a busy life, especially during the harvest months when everyone is tired and the sun is hot. We try to make sure no farmer in our group gets left behind. If someone’s tractor breaks down or they can't find help for the harvest, we try to sort it out among ourselves. It is just a local group of neighbors trying to make the farming life a little more stable.
