Gour Bhumi Farmers Producer Companylimited is based in Malda. Our address is 01 Mohonbagan, which is in the Mahadevpur area. Malda is known for its land and what it can produce, and that’s why we picked the name Gour Bhumi. We are a collective of farmers who live and work right here. We don't have a big fancy office building with a sign out front. Instead, we have a modest spot in Mahadevpur where we get together to talk about our crops and how the market is looking. Most of us have been working the soil in Malda since we were kids. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just grow things and try to make sure we get a fair price so we can keep our farms going for another year. It’s hard work, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate, but having the producer company helps us stay organized. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local group of farmers helping each other out. If you’re ever in the Mohonbagan area, you’ll see that we’re just regular people.
