Sri Satyam High School

We are located in Rajolo, right near the ZPH School in the Gadwal area. Our building is a familiar sight for the people living around here in the 509125 zip code. It’s a typical high school where the days start early before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes difficult. We have a lot of students who come from the surrounding farming communities and the local town. The school grounds are usually busy with kids running around or sitting under the trees during their breaks. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just standard classrooms with blackboards and benches that have seen many years of use. Our teachers are mostly local people who know the families well, so there is a lot of talking at the gate when parents come by. We spend our time making sure the kids stay on track with their lessons and that the school day runs as smoothly as it can. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but we just carry on with the windows open for light. The sounds of the neighborhood, like the goats or the passing motorbikes, are just part of the background here. It’s a practical place where the focus is on getting through the school year and helping the older kids prepare for their futures. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the school looking decent for the community.
