Prathibha High School

Our school is located in Subash Nagar. It’s a pretty quiet area in Mahabubnagar compared to the main market area, which is a relief. We have been here for a while. The building isn't exactly new, but it works fine for what we need. You’ll find us easily if you are in the neighborhood and ask anyone for directions. We have students from all over the local area. Every morning is the same routine with the bell ringing and everyone heading to their rooms to start the day. We keep the place clean as much as we can with so many kids running around all the time. The classrooms have enough light from the windows. We spend most of our time just getting through the syllabus and preparing for exams. It isn't anything like those big private campuses you see in the city with all the fancy signs. It’s just a local school. We have a small playground where the kids play during lunch and shout a lot. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy, but that is expected with school kids. We have a few trees around the edge of the property that give some shade when it’s hot. The parents often stop by the gate to talk to us about how their kids are doing or to drop off a forgotten lunch box. It’s a straightforward place. We just want the kids to learn their lessons and move on to the next grade. We have some old benches and some newer ones. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but they are fine for now. It’s just us here in Mahabubnagar doing the work every day.
