Lalitha Public High School

Lalitha Public High School is over in the Maremmakunta area, near Gandhi Chowk in Wanaparthy. If you are from Mahabubnagar, you probably know how things are around here. We are a local school that focuses on the kids in our immediate neighborhood. The school isn't some giant institution; it is a place where we know most of the families by name. We have a playground where the kids get a bit dusty during their lunch breaks, and classrooms that have seen many years of use. Our day starts early with the morning assembly, and then it’s straight into lessons until the afternoon. We have a small group of teachers who have been with us for a long time. They don’t just teach; they also look after the kids like they were their own. We don’t use any corporate language because we are just normal people running a school. We deal with the usual problems, like leaky roofs during the monsoon or kids who would rather be playing than studying. It is an honest life. We try to provide a safe place for the children to spend their days. Gandhi Chowk is a busy landmark nearby, so there is always some noise from the main road, but we don't mind it much. It’s just the sound of the town going about its business while we focus on the students inside our gates.
