Nava Bharat School

Nava Bharat School is located in Gadwal, and if you live around here, you probably pass by us quite often. We aren't a huge establishment, just a local school trying to keep things running smoothly for the families in the 509125 area. The mornings always start the same way with the sound of the gates opening and the first few students trickling in. Some of the kids come from quite a distance, so they’re usually a bit tired when they arrive. Our classrooms are pretty basic, with rows of desks and big windows that we leave open for the breeze. Gadwal can get very hot, so that air is important. The teachers spend their breaks sitting together, sharing tea and talking about the day’s lessons or whatever is happening in town. We don’t have any fancy gadgets, just the usual chalk, boards, and textbooks. Sometimes the goats from the nearby fields wander too close to the fence, which always gives the younger children something to laugh about. It’s a very grounded place. We deal with the usual school problems like broken pencil sharpeners and lost sweaters every single day. There is a lot of cleaning to do every evening after the kids leave, especially when it’s been raining and they’ve tracked in mud. It’s just a regular part of life for us here, keeping the school open and ready for the next day of classes.
