Our office is based in Madurai, right on Subramanian Pillai Street. We're in a place called Ruby Cottage, which is part of S.S Colony. It's a pretty decent neighborhood, not too far from the main city traffic but far enough to have some quiet during the day. We deal with specialty foods here, so most of our time is spent talking to suppliers or checking on new orders coming in. We have a small warehouse area attached and then the office part where we handle all the billing and the paperwork. The address is 43/11, and it's an older building that's been around for quite a long time. You can tell by the way the walls are and how the rooms are laid out. We don't have a marketing team or anything polished like that. It's just a few of us who have worked in the food business for a while and know how it goes. We spend a lot of time making sure the quality of the products is right before anything leaves the cottage. Madurai gets really hot in the middle of the day, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. There’s a big tree outside that helps keep the front of the building a bit cooler. We’ve been at this for a while now, just slowly making our way. It’s practical work, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy. We like being in S.S Colony because it feels like a real community.
