Eagle Food Products

If you find yourself on Nethaji Road, look for number 25. That’s where we run Eagle Food Products. It’s a place that usually smells like whatever we are processing that day. Sometimes it’s spices, other times it’s something sweeter, but there is always a scent in the air. We aren't a high-tech factory. We use traditional methods for a lot of what we do, which means there is a lot of manual labor involved. The staff here are mostly locals who have been with us for a long time. We have a routine that starts early, before the sun is even fully up, to get the machines ready. The building itself is older, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it a bit cooler than the street outside. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the ingredients that come in. If the raw stuff isn't good, the final product won't be either, so we are quite picky about that. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just pack our products and send them out to the shops. Sometimes the bags don't look perfect, or a label might be slightly crooked because a person put it on by hand, but the food inside is what matters. We just want to make stuff that tastes like it’s supposed to, without any unnecessary extras. It’s a simple business, really, run by people who care about food and want to do it right.
