Sais Farm Madurai operates out of Ayilangudi, specifically in the DAP Township area. You can find us at Plot No. 584, which covers the RS No 45/2A and 45/1 sections. Being located on the outskirts of Madurai is actually quite nice because it is a lot quieter than the main city center. We have been working on this specific land and building this business for a long time now. It is definitely not a high-tech operation by any means. We mostly rely on older, traditional methods and a whole lot of physical labor. The sun in Madurai can be really brutal, especially out here in the township, so we try to get all of the outdoor work finished as early as possible in the morning. Our office is just a very simple room where we keep our basic tools and our record books. We do not have any glossy marketing brochures or a team of sales people. It is just us and a handful of helpers from the surrounding villages. We started this farm because we had the land available and we wanted to see it actually produce something useful for the community. It has been a huge learning process for us over the years. We have made plenty of mistakes along the way, but we always try to learn from them. It is a very practical way of life, and we do not worry about appearances much. That is just how we work.
