Agro House

You can find Agro House over in Thenparankundram, specifically in the Kasi Thoppu area. We are very close to the post office, which makes it easy for folks to drop in. It’s an old part of Thirupparankundram and we’ve been part of the landscape for some time. We deal with agricultural supplies and things like that. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the stock and talk to customers. A lot of farmers come by to see what we have on the shelves. We have long conversations about the rain and the soil. It’s not a fast-paced environment. Things move at their own speed here. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck to show up. We try to keep the place organized, but with bags of seeds and tools everywhere, it gets cluttered. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to whoever walks through the door. It’s a local business through and through. The post office next door is a busy spot, so we see a lot of people passing by every day. We just stay focused on what we know, which is farming stuff. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. We just keep our doors open and wait for the sun to go down.
