Nextgen Thapovan Organic Farm Ventures Private Limited is located at No 264 Gomathipuram 3rd Main Road. It’s a residential-feeling neighborhood but we run our whole operation from here. We are really interested in the whole idea of organic farming and how to make it work as a real business. It’s not just about growing things in the dirt; it’s about the whole venture and making sure it stays sustainable for the long run. We spend a lot of time at the office here and then we head out to the actual farm plots we manage. It involves a lot of driving back and forth in the heat. The 3rd Main Road is usually quiet enough that we can get our planning and paperwork done without too much noise from the outside. We have a small group of people here who really care about the soil and the plants we work with. We don't use a lot of big words or corporate talk when we are working. We just talk about things like seeds and compost and how the weather is looking for the week. It’s a very practical way to spend our time. Sometimes we have neighbors stop by the office asking for a bit of advice on their own home gardens. We try to help out when we can. It’s not a high-pressure environment here. We just want to do right by the land and the people who eventually eat what we grow.
