Mkar Desiccated Coconut

Mkar Desiccated Coconut is located at 1/222C near the Murugamalai Checkpost on Murugamalai Road. Being in Periyakulam means we have a nice view of the hills, even if we are too busy to look at them most of the time. The checkpost is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. We focus on making desiccated coconut here. It involves a lot of drying and shredding. The air inside the facility always feels a bit warm because of the dryers. It is a small operation and we don't have a lot of fancy technology. We mostly rely on the experience of the people who work here to get the quality right. The road outside can get busy with people heading up towards the hills but our little corner stays focused on the coconuts. We started out small and we are still pretty much a local outfit. There is no big boardroom or anything like that. We just have the processing area and a small space for loading the finished bags. Periyakulam is a great place to work and the community around Murugamalai Road is very supportive. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep the machines running smoothly. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but seeing the product ready to go makes it feel worth it. We are just regular people doing a regular job at the checkpost.
