Likshi Mills is tucked away at 56 Edamal Street, just off the By Pass Road. It’s a decent sized spot for what we do, and being near the bypass makes it easier for the transport to get in and out, though Edamal Street itself can be a bit tight sometimes. We’ve got the machinery running most of the time, so there’s a constant hum in the building. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, dealing with the fabric and the machines. There is always a lot of lint and thread around, no matter how much we sweep up. That’s just the nature of a mill. We take the orders as they come and try to get them finished without too much delay. Sometimes a machine breaks down or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it and move on. It’s a practical business. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or decorations. The walls are a bit scuffed and the floor is worn down from people walking back and forth all day. We’ve been at 56 Edamal Street for a good while, and the people around here know us as a regular part of the neighborhood. It’s just about putting in the hours and making sure the mill keeps running like it’s supposed to. We just do the work and let the results speak for themselves.
