L K S Home Style is located at 24, Madurai Road in Thiruchy. It is a very busy street with cars, buses, and cycles passing by all day long. The noise from the road is something you just get used to after a while. Our shop is where we keep all sorts of items for people's houses. We have things like curtains, bedsheets, and other decorations that make a home feel a bit more comfortable. The shop is often full of different colors and fabrics. I spend a lot of my time unfolding things to show customers and then folding them back up again. Thiruchy can be a very hot and humid city, so we always have the fans running at full speed to keep the air moving. We aren't a big, fancy showroom with glass cases. It’s more of a local shop where you can touch the fabrics and see what you are getting. I’ve lived in Thiruchy my whole life and I like being on Madurai Road. You get to meet all kinds of people who are just looking for something nice for their place. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the next customer to come through the door. It’s a good way to spend the day and we feel good when someone finds exactly what they wanted.
