We have been here at 228 on Theni Main Road for a good while now. Checkanurani is where we do most of our work, just keeping busy with all kinds of construction projects and trading supplies that people need for their houses. It is not a very fancy operation, honestly. Mostly we are just out on sites or managing the inventory we keep in the back. Sometimes the road gets really busy with traffic passing through to Theni, but we just stay focused on what is in front of us. Construction is hard work and there are always things that don't go exactly as planned. We deal with cement, bricks, and whatever else the local builders are looking for at the moment. It is just a few of us here making sure things move along. If you walk past our place, you will see it is pretty straightforward. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. The focus is usually on getting the materials loaded or checking on a project down the road. It has been a steady life here in this part of town. People know us for being around and just doing the job. We have seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the way we handle our trading and building stuff stays about the same. It is just about showing up and getting the work done every day.
