Devon Plantations & Industry Ltd.

Our office for Devon Plantations & Industry Ltd. is at 511, Chidhambara Nagar Main Road in Subbiah Puram. It’s a solid old building that has been our base for quite a while. We deal with things related to plantations and industry, which keeps us pretty busy throughout the year. The office inside is a bit traditional. We have heavy wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It feels comfortable though, like an old shoe. Being on the main road means we see everything that happens in Subbiah Puram. There’s a lot of activity right outside our windows with people going to work and the local markets opening up. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or going over reports from the fields. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure everything is running the way it should. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the computers, but that's just part of life here. We aren't a flashy company. We don't have a big reception area with fancy lights or any of that. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we all know how things work and what needs to be done. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the daily schedule. It's a steady rhythm that we have fallen into.
