Zeenat Sewing Machine Co is located on 8th Main in Gurdev Nagar. It’s a pretty simple setup we’ve got here, mostly just rows of sewing machines and shelves packed with spare parts. We spend our days surrounded by the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal clicking together. People bring in their old machines that have been sitting in a closet for years, and we do our best to get them humming again. It’s often greasy work, and our workbenches are covered in scratches and oil stains from years of use. We also sell machines to people who are just starting out or looking for something more reliable than what they have. We aren't interested in a high-pressure sales environment; we just show people how the machines work and let them decide for themselves. The shop can get a bit cluttered with boxes and dismantled motors, but we usually know where everything is. It’s a bit of a local landmark for anyone who does their own stitching at home. We’ve seen a lot of regulars over the years, and we always enjoy catching up with them while we fix a bobbin or replace a belt. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business, and we’re quite happy keeping it that way without any corporate fluff. We just focus on the machines and the people who use them.
