Sohal Power Presses

Sohal Power Presses is located at 558, Gill Road. If you walk down this street, you will hear us before you see us. The workshop is always humming with the sound of machinery and metal being worked on. It’s a pretty gritty environment, with oil on the floor and heavy steel parts lying around in different corners. We’ve been here at this Gill Road spot for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy enough for the kind of work we do. We mostly deal with power presses and heavy industrial equipment. The guys here have their hands dirty most of the day, and we don't really have a clean office space to sit in. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and take notes. People come in looking for parts or repairs, and we just give them a straight answer about what can be done and how long it will take. It’s a hard-working atmosphere, and it gets quite hot in the summer with all the machines running. We don't have any air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that move the air around. Gill Road is a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other workshops nearby. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it at this same address for years.
