Mahinder Plastic Industries

Our factory is on Link Road in Street No 2, right in Industrial Area A. We are just opposite Transport Nagar, so there are always big lorries parked nearby. We work with plastics here. We have these big molding machines that get very hot. The whole place smells like melted plastic most of the day. We make things like containers, tubs, and small parts for other businesses. It is a noisy environment with the machines thumping and the fans blowing. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a while. We load the finished goods onto trucks that go out to different parts of the state. The street outside is quite narrow, and sometimes it gets blocked by the delivery vans. We have a small office in the corner with a wooden desk where we keep the bills. It is not a very clean place because of the dust from the plastic pellets. We spend our time checking the quality of the items coming off the line. If the color is wrong or the shape is bad, we have to start over. It is a lot of repetitive work. We take a break in the afternoon to have some tea and sit in the shade. It is a steady business and we just keep going day by day. Transport Nagar across the way is always loud, but we don't mind the noise anymore. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders.
