You can find us at Plot No. 11 in the Focal Point area, which is situated quite close to Mehta Road. This part of the city is purely industrial, so we are surrounded by other factories and large warehouses. Our main focus here is steel, and the yard is usually stacked high with long beams and heavy plates. It is a busy place with trucks backing in and out to load up material for different construction sites. The shed is quite large and we have various heavy machines for cutting the steel to the right size. It gets very noisy inside when the saws are running, and everyone has to shout to be heard over the din. We have a small office tucked into the corner where the phone rings pretty much constantly. The floor is concrete and always has a fine layer of iron filings on it. We don't spend any time making the place look pretty because the work is heavy and messy. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time and they know exactly how to handle the heavy loads without much direction. The road outside can get quite bogged down with traffic, especially in the evenings when all the factories are letting out. It is a straightforward industrial operation and we just focus on keeping the steel moving through the gates. We've been at this plot for many years now.
