Our operation is located at 54-R in Industrial Area B, right off Gill Road. It is an area that feels very industrial, with a lot of heavy vehicles and the smell of diesel and iron in the air. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, and we often have to sweep out the entryway to keep the place from getting too messy. We have a fairly large yard where we keep most of our stock, and the main building is a sturdy, functional space. It is not a place for meetings in suits; we are usually in our work clothes and have dirt on our hands by noon. Inside the office, things are pretty basic with just a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets that have been around since we first started. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from the same people we have dealt with for years. Gill Road is always busy, and sometimes the noise of the traffic makes it hard to hear the phone, but we get by. We like being in this part of town because all the resources we need are close at hand. The workday starts early, usually before the sun is fully up, and we stay until the last truck is loaded for the day. It is honest work and we do not see a reason to make it sound like anything more than it is. We just focus on the daily tasks and keeping things moving throughout the week.
