Vijay Steel Industries

Vijay Steel Industries is located right in Industrial Area B, specifically at Main Market 387. It’s a busy spot and we’ve been here for quite some time now. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the machines running or see someone loading metal onto a truck. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We don’t have a nice lobby or a receptionist to greet you. It’s just us doing the work we need to do. The area is usually pretty dusty, and there’s always a lot of noise from the other shops nearby too. We focus on steel because that’s what we know. Most of our days are spent cutting pieces to size or moving stock around. It’s hard work and it gets hot, especially in the summer months. The shop floor is where everything happens. We have a few older machines that still work well. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out. That’s just life in the market. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people just know us because we’ve been at 387 for so long. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a specific request. It’s just a regular local business. We get in early, do the work, and head home. There’s no big secret to it, just keeping the lights on and the metal moving.
