Vee Kay Steel Trader

Vee Kay Steel Trader is based out of Basant Park in Industrial Area-B. We are located quite near the Punjab Bank, which is a landmark most people use to get here. Since we are in an industrial area, the whole vibe is very different from a retail market. There are trucks and cranes everywhere, and the sound of machinery is just the background music to our day. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking the gauges on the steel we receive. It’s not a glamorous job. The warehouse is big and drafty, especially when the winter hits. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we try to keep the papers from flying away. Trading steel means we see a lot of different people coming through. Some are looking for specific beams, and others just need some scrap. We don't spend much on making the place look pretty. It’s a functional space for moving metal. The guys who work here have been in the steel trade for years. We know the weight of a pipe just by looking at it sometimes. Industrial Area-B is a rough and tumble place, but it suits us. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while now, and we just keep doing what we know best. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. We don’t bother with fancy talk, we just trade the steel. It's what we do day in and out.
