At Varun Ecotreatements Pvt Ltd, we operate out of 550 Samrala Chowk in Haripura. This spot is right near Chandigarh Road, so it stays quite busy with traffic passing through the intersection all day long. You can hear the buses and bikes constantly. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a plain front with a heavy door. Inside, we have various tanks and testing equipment set up. There is usually a faint smell of chemicals or dampness in the air, which comes with the kind of work we do here. The floor is concrete and can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful with the water samples. We spend our hours checking gauges and making sure the pipes are all connected tightly. It’s a lot of routine stuff, honestly. We have a small table in the corner where we sit for lunch, and there’s an old radio that mostly plays local news. The Samrala Chowk area gets very dusty in the dry months, so we are always wiping down our equipment to keep it clean.
