Vardhman Special Steels

Our place is located out in Katani Kalan, which is part of the Ludhiana district. Vardhman Special Steels has been around this area for quite some time. It's a bit of a drive out here if you are coming from the main city, but it's where we have the space for our steel operations. The air is a bit different out here compared to the industrial hubs in the center. We handle special steel here. Most days start pretty early because that's when the shifts change. It’s a straightforward setup. No big corporate meetings or anything. We just focus on the metal. The yard is usually full of materials waiting to be processed. People around here know the name well. Sometimes the roads get a bit muddy during the monsoon, making it tricky for the transport. We just manage. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the furnaces. Everyone knows their job. We don’t really spend time writing big reports. We just make sure the steel is right. It’s a tough job but it's what we know. The local tea stall nearby is where most of us hang out during breaks. It's a simple life working with steel in Katani Kalan. We just keep going, day after day. It's honest work and it keeps the families around here going.
