Our plant is situated in the Dhandari Industrial Focal Point. If you drive through this area, you’ll see it’s all factories and big warehouses. We’ve been manufacturing steel parts here for a long time. It’s a very loud place because of all the heavy engineering work going on. You can hear the thud of the presses and the hiss of the machines from quite a distance away. We aren't a small shop; we have a lot of space, but it’s all filled with raw iron and finished products. There is no corporate polish here. The walls are stained and the floors are rough concrete. Our workers have been with us for years and they really know their way around the metal. We make things that go into bigger projects, so there is always a lot of pressure to get the sizes exactly right. It’s hot work, especially when the furnaces are running. We don't have a fancy marketing team. We just focus on the engineering. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints and checking the machines. We have a small area where we sit down for lunch and have some water, but otherwise, everyone is out on the floor. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we do. We don't talk about missions or visions. We just focus on making sure the steel is shaped the way it needs to be before it leaves the gate.
