Unix International

Unix International is located at D-130 in Phase-V of the Focal Point area. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. Most days it’s pretty loud with all the machinery running nearby. We do a lot of export-related work, so there are always boxes being taped up and labels being printed for shipment. The office is just a small room in the front of the building where we keep the computer and the files. It gets a bit hot in there during the summer, but we have a fan that helps. We don't spend much on flashy signs or decorations. The work is what keeps us going. Most of the staff has been here since we started, so we’re like a small family. We have our disagreements about where things should go, but it usually gets sorted out by lunchtime. We eat together in the back sometimes when we have a moment. It’s not a high-tech corporate office by any means. There’s usually some grease on the floor and a bit of clutter in the corners. We just focus on making sure the shipments are right and that the stuff is made correctly for the clients. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s steady work. If you come by, you’ll probably find us busy with a crate or talking to a driver. We don't have much time for small talk, but we’re decent enough people once you get to know us.
