The Next Wave Enterprises

Being right in the middle of Chaura Bazar at Mali Ganj Market means things never really quiet down. The Next Wave Enterprises has been in this spot for quite a few years now. The market is always buzzing with people and carts, so getting to our door involves a bit of dodging and weaving. Our office is a small space, and we’ve filled every inch of it with records and stock. It’s definitely not a modern, polished office. The floor is a bit uneven and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve all just learned to ignore. We spend our days managing the flow of goods coming in and out. It’s a lot of manual tracking and talking to the local suppliers. We don't have any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still done with pen and paper because that’s what we trust. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but we just keep the doors open and get on with it. We know all the other shopkeepers around here, and we often help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. We don't really have a public face or a marketing plan. We just open up in the morning, do the work that needs to be done, and close up when the light starts to fade. It’s just how things are done here in the market.
