United Machinery Corporation (Regd.)

Our workshop is out in Jugiana, right there on the G T Road. Most folks find us by looking for the Uco Bank because we’re right next to it. It's a loud area with all the traffic heading out of the city, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. We’ve been United Machinery Corporation for a while now, though most people just call us by our first names when they stop by. The floors are concrete and usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or dust from the machines. We keep the big equipment in the back and a small desk near the front where we keep the ledgers. It's not a place for wearing nice clothes, that’s for sure. My brother and I handle most of the daily stuff, along with a few guys who have been with us since the start. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Word usually gets around the industrial area if someone needs a machine part or a repair. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, eating dinner out of tiffin boxes while the lathes are still humming. It’s hard work, and the summer heat makes the shed feel like an oven, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the tasks in front of us until the sun goes down. It's simple.
