Tulison Steel Balls

Tulison Steel Balls is located on Campa Cola Road, over in the Dhandasi Kalan area near G.T. Road. It’s an industrial patch where you see a lot of manufacturing going on. We spend our days making sure the machines are running right. There’s a constant hum in the background from the grinders and the sorters. Everything here is covered in a thin layer of oil or dust from the metal, which is pretty much expected in our line of work. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door; you usually have to walk back to find one of us. We make different sizes of steel balls, and they get packed into heavy bags or crates to be shipped out. Sometimes the orders are small, sometimes they take up a whole truck. The G.T. Road is always busy, so getting the transport lined up is the main headache every afternoon. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their job. We don’t have meetings about goals or anything like that. We just look at what orders came in and start the machines. When something breaks, we fix it ourselves and keep going. It’s a noisy place, and it’s not particularly pretty, but it’s where we do our work. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s close to the main transport links and it works for what we do every day.
