You’ll find Tiger Forgings out at 35 Focal Point Phase Iv. Being in Focal Point is a bit different than being in the middle of the residential areas. It’s more spread out here, with bigger factories and more heavy trucks moving around. We do forging work, which means it’s almost always hot inside our building. The sound of the hammers is something you can hear from down the street. It’s a heavy industrial kind of environment. We’ve got a lot of big equipment to handle the iron and steel we work with. The floor is made of thick concrete to handle the weight, but even that has some cracks in it now. It’s not a place for someone who likes to stay clean. By the end of the shift, everyone is covered in soot and sweat. We don’t have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just forge the parts that are ordered and send them out. It’s a lot of physical labor and you have to be careful around the furnaces. We have a small area where we keep the records, but most of the action happens on the factory floor. It’s a tough business, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Phase Iv for quite a while and we’ve got a good routine down. Every day is about managing the heat and the metal until the work is finished.
