Yashka Stampings

Our shop is located at D-353 in the Phase area of Vilage Focal Point. It is a bit of a drive to get here because of all the trucks moving around the industrial zone. We do stamping work. Most days the machines are running from morning until late evening. It gets quite loud in the workshop, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the clanging. We’ve got a small team here. Some of us handle the heavy presses while others look at the metal sheets coming in. The floor is usually covered in scrap bits of metal that we sweep up at the end of the shift. We aren’t a big corporation, just a local business trying to get orders out on time for the people who need them. The dust from the road outside often blows into the loading area, so we spend a lot of time dusting off the equipment and the desks. It is hard work and your hands stay dirty most of the day. We have been in this spot for a few years now. The neighbors are mostly other workshops and small factories. We share tea during breaks and talk about the machines or the weather. It’s a practical environment. Nothing is shiny or new, but the tools work like they are supposed to. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the metal doesn’t warp while we work.
