Sunshine Public High School

Sunshine Public High School is located on Sua Rd in Makar Colony, which is part of the Giaspura area in Ludhiana. It’s a busy, industrial part of the city, so there’s always a lot of activity going on around us. Our school sits right in the middle of where people live and work. The kids come from the nearby houses, walking through the narrow streets to get to the gate. Inside, it’s a typical school with classrooms that get pretty warm during the summer months. We have blackboards that have been used so much they are a bit grey now. The teachers here work hard to keep the students focused, even when there’s noise from the factories nearby. We don’t have a big fancy playground, but the kids find space to play during their breaks. It’s a place for families who live in the colony and want their children to get an education close to home. We handle everything from the morning assembly to the final bell at the end of the day. There is always some paperwork to do in the office, and the bell for the next period is always ringing just when you think you have a moment of quiet. It’s a very real, busy place where people are just trying to do their best for the next generation. We’ve been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time now and plan to stay.
