Chander Model School

Chander Model School is located on Hambran Road in the Haibowal Khurd area of Ludhiana. Specifically, we are over in Rishi Nagar, which is a place many of us call home. The school is a simple building on our plot, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. We don't have any of those fancy modern glass walls; it’s just brick and mortar that has stood through many Ludhiana summers. Running a school in Rishi Nagar means we know most of the families around here. We see the parents every day, and we know which kids are brothers and sisters. It’s a very local operation. We don't spend money on big advertisements or polished slogans. We just make sure the classrooms are ready and the teachers have what they need to teach. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with the traffic from Hambran Road, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. We focus on the basics of education without adding unnecessary fluff. If a fan stops working or a window needs fixing, we just get it done. It’s an honest way to run a school. We are just part of the local scenery in Haibowal Khurd, doing our best to help the kids learn their lessons and grow up to be decent people. It’s a lot of daily effort, but it is what we know.
