Devgun Model High School

Devgun Model High School is located right on Gill Road in Janta Nagar, Ludhiana. If you know where Arora Palace is, we are just opposite that building. Being in Ludhiana, it’s always a bit hectic outside with all the traffic and business going on throughout the day. Our school is a high school, so we deal with kids up to the tenth grade mostly. The building is situated in a way that we have to make the most of the space we have available. It’s an old part of the city, so things are a bit cramped sometimes. We have classrooms that have seen many years of students passing through them. The teachers spend their days trying to keep the kids focused despite the constant noise from Gill Road. It’s not always easy, but we make it work somehow. We have a small area where students can gather, but it’s not exactly a huge playground like some other places have. People in Janta Nagar usually know us because we’ve been here for so long. We focus on the basics like math, science, and languages without any extra bells and whistles. The office is usually busy with parents coming in to pay fees or ask about their children's progress. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We just try to provide a decent place for the kids in this neighborhood to get their education without having to travel too far.
