Sukhmani Machine Tools is located over in the Krishna Industrial Estate at Basti Jodhewal. If you’re looking for us, we’re right opposite Dhillon Di Kothi in the Gorwa area of Vadodara. It’s a bit of a trek for some people to get out here, but being in the industrial estate makes the most sense for what we do. The shop floor at G1853 is usually covered in metal shavings and oil. That’s just the nature of working with machines all day. We spend most of our time adjusting parts and making sure everything runs like it should before it goes out. It’s not a quiet place to work. There is always a hum of engines or the sound of metal hitting metal in the background. We don’t have any fancy reception area for visitors. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine at that moment. Usually, that’s one of us with grease on our hands and a rag in our pocket. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. The neighbors around here in Vadodara are mostly doing similar industrial work, so we all know each other and help out when someone is short on a tool. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on shiny signs or big marketing plans. We just focus on the tools and the machines. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order comes in.
