If you are coming to Sudarshan Engineers Works, you need to head to Miller Ganj. We are located on Nirankari Street No 3, right off the main G T Road. Anyone who knows Ludhiana knows that G T Road is the heart of the industrial movement here. Our workshop is full of the sounds of metal being worked on—clanging, grinding, and the hum of engines. It is a very loud environment, but it feels like home to us. The air usually smells like burnt metal and heavy grease. We have got various workbenches scattered around the floor, and there is never enough space for all the projects we have going on at once. We are not the type of place that has a clean, air-conditioned waiting room. If you come to see us, you will probably end up standing in the middle of the shop floor while we talk. The street outside is narrow and always full of workers moving parts or tea vendors making their rounds. We have been on Nirankari Street for a long time, and we have seen the machines change but the basic work stays the same. It is honest, heavy work that requires a lot of patience. We just keep our tools sharp and our focus on whatever is on the bench that day.
