Our setup at C L Engineering Ltd is located right in Focal Point Phase 7 at unit C 201. Being in an industrial area means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there is always a lot of activity going on. You can hear the sounds of trucks and machinery throughout the day, which we have grown to appreciate. Our space is very practical and built for work. We have got our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for the daily flow of engineering tasks. It is not the cleanest place in the world because of all the metal and oil, but it is a real working environment. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. Most of our guys have been working here for a long time and they know exactly where everything is kept. We start our shift early in the morning before it gets too hot in the workshop. There are no fancy suits or long meetings here. We just look at the plans, check the machines, and get to it. It is a lot of hands-on work that requires us to stay focused. Sometimes we run into problems with a machine or a design, and we just sit down and figure it out together. It is a simple, no-nonsense approach to engineering. We like being part of the Phase 7 community. It feels right to be in a place where things are actually being made.
