You can find Sms Engineering and Exports over at Focal Point in Phase-II. We are at plot B-17. This area is full of factories and big trucks, so there is always a lot of movement and noise around. Our workshop is a bit greasy, which is normal for an engineering place. We spend our time working on different parts and sometimes we handle export orders too. It involves a lot of metalwork and using the lathes. The floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter months. We have a small crew and we all know each other's habits by now. It is a practical setup without any unnecessary stuff. Most of our day is spent reading drawings or checking the machines to make sure everything is running okay. Focal Point is a busy hub, so there is always a sense of hurry in the air outside, but inside we try to just focus on the task at hand. We have some old desks in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the shop floor. It is hard, physical work and we often go home with dirty hands. That’s just the nature of the engineering business. We’ve been here in Phase-II for a good while and it feels like the right place for us to do our work. We don't have a fancy office, just the workshop where everything happens.
