Sura Engineering Works

Our workshop, Sura Engineering Works, is located at Focal Point E-275. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. The floor is concrete and usually has a bit of oil or grease on it. We have some heavy machines that take up most of the space. It’s not a place for high heels or fancy clothes. We wear work boots and overalls. It gets hot in the summer because the roof is metal, but we have a couple of big fans that help a little. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs, just a small desk in the corner for the invoices. Most of the time, we’re out on the floor. We’ve been at E-275 for years. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so we help each other out with tools sometimes. It’s a hard-working environment. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them on time. If something goes wrong, we fix it. That’s just how it works here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do our work and keep the machines running. Focal Point is a gritty place, but it's where we belong. The gate at E-275 has a trick to it and you have to lift it slightly to get it to lock properly. We have a small radio that only picks up two stations. We listen to the news and some music while we work.
