Shri Guru Harkishan Public School

Shri Guru Harkishan Public School is located on Dugri Road, specifically in Extension Block - D of Model Town in Ludhiana. The area is usually quite bustling. If you know Ludhiana, you know Model Town is a major spot. We are right in the middle of it. Our school has been here serving the local families for years. It’s a big place with a lot of history behind it. You can see the address on the gate: 141002. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy promotion. People just know us because we’ve been here so long. The school day starts early, and the noise of the city blends with the sounds of the kids. We have a lot of rooms and a good amount of space for the students. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes if you aren’t used to it. The staff are mostly local people who have been with us for a long time. We don’t use corporate language or have big meetings about vision. We just talk about what the kids need to learn today. Sometimes the traffic on Dugri Road is a bit much, but we are used to it by now. It’s a solid, honest place to work and learn. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, right here in Model Town. The Extension Block - D area is quite built up now, so we are surrounded by houses and shops. It makes the school feel like it’s right in the heart of the community. At Shri Guru Harkishan Public School, we don’t really bother with fancy titles or anything like that. We are just teachers, cleaners, and office staff. Everyone knows their job. The playground can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We've seen many students grow up and move on, which is always a bit strange to think about. But then a new group starts, and we just keep going. It’s a constant cycle here in Ludhiana.
