Sher-I-Punjab Steel Industries

Our workshop is down on Link Road in the industrial area, at 893/D. It’s a heavy-duty kind of place, as you’d expect for a steel business. There is always the smell of metal and grease in the air. We’ve been operating out of this unit for quite a while. It’s not quiet here. Between the machines running and the metal clanging, you have to talk a bit louder than usual. The Link Road area is always humming with activity, mostly people moving supplies and finished goods. We spend our days mostly on the floor, making sure everything is being cut or welded right. It’s honest work, and it’s tiring. By the end of the day, everyone is usually ready to head home. We keep our tools organized as best we can, though it’s a constant struggle when things get busy. The floor is concrete and stays cool in the morning but picks up the heat later on. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk in the corner where the paperwork sits. People come by to pick up their orders or just to check on how things are going. It’s a straightforward setup. No frills, just steel and hard work. That’s how it’s always been for us at Sher-I-Punjab. If you're looking for us, look for the big gate on the side of the road. We’re usually there by eight in the morning.
