Setia Sons

Down at Focal Point E-298, you will find us at Setia Sons. This is a tough part of town where everyone is busy making things. We have been in this unit for a long time, and the walls have that gray look that comes from years of industrial work. My sons work here with me, which makes the long days a bit easier to manage. We handle metal parts and basic manufacturing bits. It’s loud because of the neighbors and the trucks constantly backing into the loading docks. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor with grease on our shirts. We usually have the radio playing some old songs to drown out the noise of the machinery. E-298 is just a number on a gate, but to us, it’s home for ten hours a day. We keep the inventory on old metal racks that we built ourselves. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific part for a while because things get moved around. It isn't a perfect system, but it’s our system. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the business over the noise. It’s not a clean job, but it’s steady and we’ve been part of the Focal Point community for as long as I can remember. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as best as we can every day.
