Sethi Plastic Product

Sethi Plastic Product is based in Transport Nagar. Since we are in the transport hub, there are always trucks idling nearby and the sound of horns blowing. It’s a very industrial part of town with a lot of dust and big warehouses. Our place is one of those functional spaces where we focus on making and storing plastic items. We have the molding machines in the back and they make a steady humming and clicking sound all day long. The smell of warm plastic is something you just get used to after working here for a week. We have a lot of crates and raw material sacks piled up near the loading bay. Most of our days are spent checking the machines or loading finished products onto the back of tempos. It isn't a clean, white-collar office; our desks are covered in dust and we usually have our tea in steel glasses while sitting on plastic stools. The people who come by are mostly drivers or traders looking to pick up orders. We don't really do any retail selling to people walking by because not many people walk around Transport Nagar for fun. It’s a place for work. We keep the doors open for ventilation, but that just lets in the noise from the street. It’s a straightforward business, nothing fancy about it, just producing what’s needed and getting it shipped out. We just keep the machines running and hope for the best with the electricity supply.
