You can find us at 2684, Street No 1 on Gill Road. We go by Bombay Hydraulic India, but most people just know us as the hydraulic repair shop on the corner. We spend our days surrounded by jacks, pumps, and hoses that have seen a lot of use. Hydraulics is a messy business, and there is almost always oil on our hands and clothes. No fancy showroom with shiny products exists here. Instead, we have shelves packed with different sizes of rubber seals, valves, and metal fittings. Most of the work involves taking apart a cylinder that’s leaking and figuring out why it stopped working. It’s like a puzzle sometimes. We get a lot of farmers and truck drivers coming in because their equipment broke down in the middle of a job. We understand they’re in a hurry, so we try to get things fixed as fast as we can without rushing the details. The shop is old and the lighting isn't the best, but we know where every tool is kept. We’ve been on Gill Road for a long time now and have seen the street change quite a bit. There isn't a big corporate philosophy here. We just like the feeling of fixing something that was broken and seeing it work again. It’s honest, greasy work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just do what we can to help people get back to work.
