Sekhon Industries

At Sekhon Industries, we spend our days at Bxxi 14543 Kalsi Nagar, right on the GT Road. We’re directly opposite Prem Narain & Co, so we see them every day. This place is more of a workshop than anything else. We make various metal parts and components for larger machines. It’s dirty work and our clothes are always stained with oil, but we don't mind it. I took over the business from my father, and he taught me everything about the machines we use. Some of the equipment is quite old, but it still works perfectly if you know how to handle it. Kalsi Nagar is a busy area with lots of small industries like ours. We all know each other and sometimes trade tools or help out when someone’s machine breaks down. We don't have a secretary or a fancy waiting room for customers. Most people just walk into the workshop and find us near the lathes. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. The noise can be quite a lot when all the machines are running at once, but that’s the sound of work getting done. We stay busy from morning until late evening most days. There isn't much time for anything else, but we like the feeling of finishing a big order. It’s just us, doing our thing here on GT Road, trying to make a living the best we can.
