Satnam Steels Pvt Ltd is based in Focal Point Phase V, at plot D 176. It’s a heavy-duty kind of place. We deal with steel, so there is always the sound of metal clanging and the big cranes moving overhead. The yard is usually full of stacks of steel bars or sheets waiting to be processed. It’s a dusty environment and we all wear heavy boots because of the scraps on the floor. Our office is a small room on the side where we keep the records. It’s nothing special, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of files. The guys out on the floor are the ones doing the real work. We get big trucks coming in from early in the morning, and the gates are almost always open to let them through. Being in Phase V of Focal Point means we are surrounded by other factories, so there is a constant hum of industry all around us. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just take the orders and cut the steel to the size that’s needed. Sometimes the machines need a bit of a kick to get started in the winter, but they’ve been reliable for us over the years. We just focus on getting the loads ready on time. It is straightforward work, but it is what we know how to do best.
